MicroNeedling is a minimal invasive treatment that creates microscopic punctures to the skin, with the insertion of very fine short needles, for rejuvenation. If, the thought of multiple needle wounds sounds slightly scary to you, know that the punctures are more like pin-pricks that enter only surface-level deep. And a medical-grade lidocaine ointment is used to numb the skin creating little to NO DISCOMFORT throughout the service! We will also use, a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, that will drive in hydration & deliver antioxidants to the skin.
After having the MicroNeedling treatment done, you will look plump, pink, and luminous for a couple of weeks. On a short-term basis, it plumps the skin and makes the skin look more radiant from inflammation and very superficial swelling.

PREPARATION FOR TREATMENT
Clients should avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks pre and post treatment.
Sunscreen of SPF30+ UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum is recommended daily.
Clients should avoid Retin-A, chemical peels, injections, fillers 2 weeks before treatment.
What To Expect Post Treatment
Day 1: Skin will be erythematous and flushed after treatment, depending on the intensity of treatment. Pinpoint bleeding may occur. Clients should not apply makeup for at least 12 hours.
Day 2: A red or pink hue persists like moderate sunburn. Swelling and slight bruising may be more noticeable on the second day. Minor scratches may be visible. Apply post-care treatment serum or mask as needed.
Day 3: Skin can be pink or normal color. Swelling subsides. The skin can feel dry and/or tight. A slight outbreak of acne or milia (tiny white bumps) is possible. Light peeling usually occurs in about three days and will be replaced with brand new skin.
Post Care Advice
Clients should gently cleanse the skin morning and night, using only fingertips in gentle circular motions, especially within the first 24 hours. No Clarisonic brush or washcloth should be used until sensitivities subside.
Apply Hyaluronic Serum or Vitamin C+ Enhancement Serum morning and night after cleansing. Advise hydration.
Daily use of Vitamin C internally to aid the cell function.
Clients should switch to a fresh, clean facial mask & pillowcase post treatment washed in fragrance-free detergent.

Have used Acctuate (isotretinoin) within the last year.
Have open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the skin.
